  4. Quakers Beliefs • Not to kill • Don’t pay war taxes • All people are equal

  5. Geoclimate • Climate: Warm Summers, Mild Winters • Geography: Forests, fertile soil, rivers, mountains, plateaus, and coastal plains

  6. Natural resources and Economy • Farmland, timber, furs, coal, forests, rivers, and fertile soil • Economy: Because of this, farms, ship building, iron ore making, trading companies helped them thrive

  7. Interesting Facts • Often called Breadbasket Colony because of wheat amount • Philadelphia is capitol and city of brotherly love
