  2. Red fronted macaws are the smallest of the large macaws. They are fairly rare and there for not well known. Red fronted macaw’s are olive green with bright red on their foreheads.

  3. Many macaws have brightly colored feathers.

  4. The birds have powerful beaks that can crack nuts and seeds easily.

  5. Macaws have gripping toes that macaws use to latch into tree branches to grab items.
