2. Post Termination NPSS Report August 2010 is the membership datum point for IEEE membership reports. NPSS membership in August 31 2010 was 3102 members (reference). By end of February, 194 NPSS members renewed IEEE but not NPSS By end of February, 12 members had resigned IEEE and NPSS, Total loss = 206, or about 7% of the reference population. About 19 % of the reference NPSS population was terminated and thus there were about 81% renewals. These numbers are consistent with the overall averages for each of the other IEEE societies. By mid April 2011, the value of 580 NPSS drop-outs in February was refreshed to be down to 499 when some drop-outs had since rejoined IEEE and NPSS. These numbers are up-dated each month until August 2011 when the cycle begins anew. New members and reinstated renewals = 384 people since August 2010

6. Campaign Codes Campaign codes are accounting numbers issued by IEEE upon request by entities for accounting information for payment of membership in a Society by regular member recruits who newly join IEEE at an authorized conference.

7. Proposed Membership Plans for NPSSCo-sponsored Conferences held between 16 August to 28 February Offer a set number of (say, up to 25 or 50) prepaid introductory full year memberships in IEEE and in NPSS to students who join at the conference. Offer a full year prepaid regular memberships in NPSS to conference attendees who join IEEE at the conference over the web at their expense and can submit his or her new membership number to NPSS for inclusion into a request for this addition to be made. This web membership join can include ‘E-Member’ people from IEEE-listed developing countries. Note: Autumn membership fees are for full year dues.
