  1. Ask Yourself 1.) What is God’s will for me? 2.) Am I obeying the will of God?

  2. In the book of John, Chapter 12, verse 26, Jesus says“If anyone serves Me let him follow me; and where I am, there my servant will be also. If anyone serves Me, him My Father Will honor? In Matthew 20”28. Jesus says:“Just as the Son of man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life as ransom for many.”

  3. Mathew 20:26-28: “Yet it shall not be among you; but whoever desires to become great among you, let him be your minister. And whoever desires to be first among you, let him be you’re servant-just as the son of man did not come to be served but to serve, and to give HIS life a ransom for many”.

  4. That’s because servant hood brings blessings such as:A joyful excitement in your life for God and for all things that are good. A healing in your life.Makes a difference in the lives of those you serve.

  5. Jesus disciples clearly understood what it meant to be a servant. In 2 Peter 1:1 – Simon Peter started this epistle off by saying he was a bondservant and an apostle of Jesus Christ. In James 1:1 – James starts his epistle “A bondservant of God and of the Lord Jesus Christ.” In Philippians 1:1 – Paul writes: “Paul and Timothy bondservants of Jesus Christ”.

  6. Servant hood should be the attitude of saints and we serve through love. Gal 5:13: “For you brethren, have been called to liberty; only do not use liberty as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another”.

  7. James 2:15-18. “If a brother or sister is naked and destitute of daily food, and one of you says to them, “Depart in peace, be warmed and filled, “but you do not give them the things which are needed for the body, what does it profit? Thus also faith by itself, if it does not have works is dead”. “We do not work to gain salvation that’s free through Jesus death on the cross. However, we should serve/work because we are saved.

  8. In Ephesians 4:15-16, Paul writes: “but, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into HIM who is the head-Christ- from whom the whole body, joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the effective working by which ever part does it share, cause growth of the body for the edifying of itself in love”.

  9. We serve the kingdom through the use of our time, talents and our resources. Time – serviceTalent – the gifts God has blessed you with Resources – (tithes, offering, donations)

  10. Malachi 3:8-10:God challenges us to try Him.We return the tithes not pay tithe. You can do more with the 90%h then the 100%.It all belongs to God.
