  3. Introduction and Organization Introduction Overview of content of the two-year plan and organizational chart and roles.

OBJECTIVES AND INDUSTRY ANALYSISYour Company’s Objectives For each of the six performance measures in the weighting factors (CWF): Discuss your firm’s objectives What factors affected the choice of your objective? How well were your objectives achieved? For each of the CWFs compare the quantified financial objectives from your two-year report for years 5 and 6 to what your company actually achieved in years 5 and 6. Explain any differences between actual achievement and pro-forma figures for your objectives for years 5 and 6 Provide table

OBJECTIVES AND INDUSTRY ANALYSISIndustry Analysis Industry Compare your company to the industry for years Y5Q1 – Y6Q4, (quarterly consolidated figures, same as Two-Year Plan) Provide Tables and Graphs Discuss the differences between the pro-forma figures and actual outcomes in your industry analysis.

  6. Strategies Discuss your strategy What business strategy did you use? What strategy did you use in each functional area to meet your objectives? Did the strategies succeed in meeting your objectives? Why or why not?

  7. Group Decision Making Process Discuss any methods you used in making decisions as a group, below are some criteria you may want to discuss: How often did you meet Where and how What methods did you use What were some of the problems How did they come about How did you solve the problems Anything else you would like to share or do you think is important to the decision making process of your group What did you learn from the BP game

  8. Financial Statements For your company only Annual Quarterly Income Statements, Balance Sheets, and Cash Flow Statements for Years 5 and 6. Compare actual results with pro-forma Statements from your Two-Year Plan for Year 6 only. Discussion of the results for Year 6, only

  9. Financial StatementsDiscussion of Results Compare actual results from Year 6 to the projections for year 6 from the Two-Year plan Income statement Balance Sheet Discuss the actual performance of your company Discuss any variances/differences that are greater than 10 – 15 % in either direction

  11. Summary • Financial report needs very little new material • Objective is to reoprt what you achieved • Discuss mistakes • Be concise and precise in your writing

Oral PPT Presentation • Important part of team grade • Present the process and what you learned • Use exhibits that the class can follow • Be creative in communicating • Limit to 12 slides (15 minutes) • All team members must participate in one way or another in the presentation • Hand a copy of your presentation to professor
