  3. Definition of Dimensional Analysis: • Problem-solving method that uses the fact that any number or expression can be multiplied by one without changing its value

  4. True “in ones” [unit conversions]:these examples have a value of 1 (the numerator and denominator are the same value!)

  5. False “in ones” [unit conversions]: these are common errors! They DON’T have a value of 1 because the numerator and denominator are difference values!

  7. How many days are equivalent to 250 seconds?

  8. How many minutes are equivalent to 2 years?

  9. How many nanometers are in 3m?

  10. How many kilometers are equivalent to 400 dm?

  11. Your Task • Take out your Basic Math Review Packet • Turn to the section on Dimensional Analysis and begin correcting and reviewing your answers in your Study Groups • When you feel your group is ready, ask for the quiz! • All quizzes must be completed by this Friday.
