Status of beam pipe for SVD1.5 Y.Yamada at SVD meeting on Feb.10, 2000 • Budget for the beam pipe for SVD1.5 was approved last week. • Vacuum test on the first beam pipe will finish soon. • Rate of out gas (2.5 x10 -10 Torr*litter/s/cm2) is worse than normal Al • by one order and it may be a main reason of worse vacuum(10 –6 Pa) • than those in other regions. • Uniformity test of vacuum sputtering of Au will be done soon. • HOM calculation is in progress. • Increase of HOM from present pipe is estimated to be about 30 %. • Heating by HOM is under study by Stanic with MAFIA and ABCI. • Schedule • Machining will start late Feb. and be finished end of May. • Welding of cooling line will be done in Apr. • Vacuum sputtering of Gold on Be pipes will be done in May. • Final assembly will be done in June. • Delivery date will be July 7th.
