  2. Athena’s dad is Zeus but she doesn’t have a mother. Her sibling is Ares and was the foster mother of Ericthonius. She also made the flute.

  3. Athena is the goddess of wisdom, warfare, divine intelligence, architecture, and crafts. She stands for justice and is the guardian of Athens.

  4. According to myth Poseiden struck a rock with his trident and salt water began to flow when Athena struck the ground with her spear an olive tree appeared.

  5. Athena’s most important festival that was called The Panathenaia and it is celebrated in Athens every June. The festival was in honor of Athena.

  6. Athena put Ericthonius in a chest and gave it to the others to watch while she was gone forbidding them to open it.

  7. Athena has always had a little friend her owl with her. No one knows who came first or why it follows her only myths can tell.

  8. When they did open the chest and saw the half man half serpent baby Athena drove them mad as their punishment.

  9. Zeus trusted her to wield the aegis and his thunderbolt in battle, being his favorite child.
