Example Network Architectures User Distribution and Network Topology • 250 User Environment: • One Main Building: 100 users (140 ports) • One Adjacent Building: 100 users (140 ports) • Two Remote Branches: 25 users each (44 ports) • 368 total ports • 500 User Environment: • One Main Building: with 125 users (188 ports) • Three Adjacent Buildings: each with 100 users (140 ports) • Two Remote Branches: One with 25 users (44 ports), and one with 50 users (68 ports) • 720 total ports 1000 User Environment: • One Main Building: 250 users (332 ports) • Three Adjacent Buildings: 200 users each (852 ports) • Four Remote Branches: 2 each at 25 users (44 ports) and 2 each at 50 users (68 ports) • 1,408 total ports 2500 User Environment: • Main Building: 500 users (720 ports) • Three Adjacent Buildings: each with 375 users (528 ports) and building 3 with 4 fewer ports • Fifteen Remote Branches: 5 at 25 users (44 ports), 5 at 50 users (68 ports), and 5 at 100 users (144 ports) • 3,580 total ports
