INPATIENT EATING DISORDER Inpatient eating disorder treatment may be useful for severely underweight children or in need of medical stabilization because of: • Anorexia • Bulimia • Binge eating • Other eating disorders The goal of inpatient treatment is to balancing nutrition, restoring minimally adequate body weight, reducing disordered eating habits and behaviours.
