  1. Extract files from a zip file on the instructor’s webpage using Winzip to Uncompress Start Web browser (mozilla) Type the instructor’s URL Double-click files needed WinZip Screen appears. 1 Select Actions> Select All 2 Select Extract

  2. In Extract to: navigate to OR type h:\web-docs Select Extract You should see the files to the left in your h:\web-docs folder. The sales.jpg will be used in MS Windows Paint The other files are MapInfo data layers. Note that there are multiple file names but different extensions that make up a MapInfo data layer. There is also a .wor or workspace file. This workspace file contains a collection of MapInfo tables, magnification, and color characteristics
