Held in Phoenix this year Over 550 ES Professionals from around the US. 180 Exhibitors Keynotes were by Dr. William Rutala, Michael Rogers, Brian Lee and Joe Contrera Many educational presentations featuring HCAPHS, How to develop ES dashboards, OR disinfection guidelines, hand hygiene, floor care, Integrated Waste Management, sustainability, HCAHPS Best Practices, Hiring for Engagement, etc. Great Networking Opportunities. AHE Updates • New requirements that 20% of state chapter membership must be AHE members. • Chapter leadership must be AHE members. • Preferred that 20% of chapter members attain CHESP certification status.
AHE Updates • Ohio AHE was featured prominently on Monday evening at Chapter Event. • OAHE is one of largest, most active chapters in the last 4 years. • Opportunities to serve on AHE Educational Committee for the 2013 AHE National Conference to be held in Indianapolis from September 15 – 18.
AHE Updates • AHE is forming “Chapter Advisory Council” in 2013. We have been asked to be a part of that council.
