SOL040 IS Topic for 2014 – how CSR impacts strategic decisions • Lectures in aud.max • Theory, with examples from practice • Corporate guests talk about how CSR impacts their strategy • Two case seminars • Group-based training in smaller auditoriums (TAs) • Written case report, presentation & discussion • Case-based home exam • Strategic analysis of firm-of-choice (5000 words) • Independent group work (no feedback) • Individual exam • Case format on final exam • Assesses ability to apply strategy theory in practice

SOL040 IS Key success factors for case seminars • wrtstudents in the course • Well-structured time frames for students • Assign roles to everyone in the seminar • wrtTAs • Recruiting the right TAs • Extensive preparation with TAs • Team up the TAs & clarify TA role • Coordinate - ONE VOICE • Use of examplars to prepare feedback • wrtcourse instructor • Be available for TAs prior to and during case seminars • Attend all aud.max sessions and as many case seminars as possible For home exam case: Q&A forum on It’s learning
