  3. Westlaw Introduction • Westlaw出版社自1872年成立以來，一直都是法律類出版社的權威，具有悠久的法律資料經驗、完整的資料來源管道及專業律師編輯群。 • 涵蓋各式法律法規資料，特別是法律學科的資料。資料庫中提供：法律判決、立法法案、法律審查、條約協定及經過系統化整理之專門議題與司法審判之指南。 • Westlaw 提供專業律師撰寫的判例註解『Headnotes』及法規注釋。

  4. Westlaw Introduction • 『Westlaw Key Number & Digest System』係美國國家通報者系統（National Reporter System）報導一部份（包括聯邦及各州郡） • 『KeyCite』提供判決、尚未通過的法案及專利等多項引用追蹤功能 • 『Add/Remove Tabs』提供個人化主題的檢索模組（Tab）及法案追蹤Alert功能（僅供個人密碼使用者使用）

Westlaw 資料庫收錄內容 1 • 國家區域 • 美國：聯邦法與各州的法律、國際組織協定，並提供法律案例的全文資料、判決書、專論。 • 英國：威爾斯與英格蘭地區的議會報告；大英國協的軍事鞏固法案；Sweet & Maxwell 所出版的英國法律判決與立法案，並附加引證案例的參考文獻，二手資料，及與案例相關的對照資料。 • 歐洲聯盟：收錄 Sweet&Maxwell、Ellis Publications 專業的歐盟法律資料，包括：CELEX，Official Journal L and C series以及經過整理之重要的歐洲法院報告、 提供自1998年起官方期刊資料的PDF檔資料、 條約協定、 國際性合約、 立法與立法提案、 判決法、CELEX提供之議案與註解資料。 • 加拿大：聯邦和各省的判例的法律報告，各專案主題系列之法律報告等（Carswell）。 • 香港：香港訴訟案件的摘要(1985+)；香港法律草案之新知通告服務(1999+)；香港法院之訴訟案件之全文報告。 • 澳洲：法律法規及期刊文獻資料等。

Westlaw 資料庫收錄內容 2 • 收錄全球超過21,000 法律法規資源資料庫 • 法學期刊－收錄800種以上英美歐盟法學期刊及評論，如：Harvard Law Review、Yale Law Journal… • 法學工具－收錄法學辭典(Black's Law Dictionary)、合約範本(Forms)、條約(Treatise)、Practice Guides • 新聞資訊－Dialog NewsRoom on Westlaw 提供最即時性的新聞資訊。 • General News：收錄USA Today、New York Times、Financial Times…等出版品，提供學術單位及法律系所師生以Password登錄。 • Campus News：IP認證，供全校師生使用之新聞資訊。
