The Chicago Housing Authority (CHA) is expanding affordable housing opportunities, providing reliable rental income for property owners. The program aims to support working families, seniors, and specific populations like veterans and intergenerational families. Various subsidy levels are available for multi-unit and supportive housing, with contracts lasting 5 to 30 years. The rental rates are determined by the CHA based on Fair Market Rent and market comparables. The application process takes 30-45 days and is subject to evaluation for property characteristics and management experience.
