  2. Collecting Data for Career Clusters Unduplicated enrollment data is reported by populations (gender, ethnicity & special populations) as before. The 16 Career Cluster Areas will be added this year. The total enrollment should include both secondary & postsecondary subtotals. The form for Basic Grants & Tech-Prep are the same.

  3. Collecting Data for Career Clusters Step 1 – Report the unduplicated count. Step 2 – Assign programs/sequences of courses to appropriate clusters. Step 3 – Report total student enrollment for each cluster area.

  4. Collecting Data for Career Clusters Not-provided (N/P) Vs. “0”. Local vs. state reported data Local application & performance reporting Non-traditional issues & clusters

  5. Collecting Data for Career Clusters Reporting Enrollment by Cluster, Issues: Definition of a CTE concentrator & participant, Duplicated vs. unduplicated counts in clusters, Combining or splitting clusters, & Cell suppression in clusters

  6. Collecting Data for Career Clusters What Next: Standardization of key terms, Uniform collection & reporting, Consistency in training, Data transparency, & Local to State to Federal plan
