  2. Fiasco • A fiasco a noun that would be anything that is a complete failure, esp. in a ludicrous or humiliating way. Fiasco is used to describe an event that has gone terribly wrong. Disaster and failure are two synonyms for fiasco. Because my friend could not sing, I turned off the radio to avoid a fiasco. I could use fiasco to describe a hapless event.
