  2. The Charity of Emam Ali Society is an active group helping the street children and their mothers or women headed households through three established KhanehElm to get trained in order to leave the street jobs.

  3. Through this project supported by GEF SGP environment friendly bags are being produced advocating climate change and endangered animals themes which not only would help consume less plastic bags but will also help empower the marginalized children and women headed households

  4. Main objectives are: • 1.Promoting people to use green bags instead of plastic bags (Every family in Iran at least purchase 20 plastic bags every week, This means 280 million plastic bags are going to plastic wastes during recycling) • 2.Supporting endangered species and informing people about them by printing their image on green bags • 3.Make children interested about endangered animals • 4.To help overcome barriers to children’s education • 5.Supporting and empowering women care givers

  5. This project started with 7 street children; painting the bags after finishing their school time. • 5 months later the project involves 12 children who paint 20 bags a day which means 4800 bags in a month. • The target is to cover 40 children in the community.
