  4. Which system one ply/two ply • One ply is generally used on MTO bridges in Ontario. The application is 5 mm thick Bemalastic 1213 and MTO approved 1/8 inch Protection Board. • Two Ply is generally used on the Superelevated bridges and in Toronto where the fabric reinforcement Reemay is sandwiched between two layers of Bemalastic 1213 approximately 2.5 mm thick each. Then the hot material layer is covered with protection board as above.
