  1. QOF Assessor Validation Report Generator How to use the QOF Wizard Mouse-click your way through step-by-step instructions

  2. All Programs Apollo Medical Systems Run QOF Wizard Click to start the wizard Click on Start The introductory screen will appear Please be patient; it can take a few minutes for the software to initialise. This will start ‘flashing’ pink, while it produces the list of reports.

  3. After a few minutes, the list of reports will be shown here We’ve included links to useful web sites – simply click to be taken there. … and an Excel icon will be shown here. If you’ve previously run the reports, the run date(s) will be listed here… PLEASE NOTE! The preliminary report will show a run date, but it won’t produce an Excel sheet. It must be run BEFORE any of the other reports, as it initialises the system and gathers the information it needs to run the reports from your clinical system.

  4. Click on ‘Run All Reports’ if you wish to run them all, including the preliminary report. NB: This can take some time, e.g. more than two hours, so please be patient! Now click on ‘Run Selected Report’. You can run just one report, e.g. Blood Pressure, or you can run them all. Click on the name of the report, Blood Pressure, to select it as shown. We’ll assume you’ve already run the Preliminary Report.

  5. Once the report is finished, you can click on ‘Exit’ to return to the list of reports and view the output. Click ‘Next’ to continue… …or ‘Stop’ if you change your mind. The dialogue box will appear for whichever report(s) you are running. The report will start to run. A progress bar shows you how far through the run process you are. Please be patient; this can take some time! Please read the on-screen prompts carefully…

  6. You can click on the name of any report, then select ‘View Spreadsheet’ to do just that… NB: The ‘Get A Record’ report can only be run manually and needs a different method. Separate instructions are available for this one. …or you can just opt to view the Excel files in their folder. The patient ID is encrypted to preserve anonymity. Each report in the list that has an Excel icon next to it will have its own Excel sheet. You can view the spreadsheets in one of the two following ways… Each time you run a report, it will produce an Excel spreadsheet of the output. Here is a section of one of the sheets. The completed Excel spreadsheets, saved into the default folder.
