Steps to Configure Comcast Email on iPhone • Initially, unlock your iPhone. • Visit Settings and select Mail. • Click on “Accounts” • Click on “Add Account” • Select “Other” • Click on “Add Mail Account” • Now add Name, Comcast Email Address, Comcast Password, and a description like Comcast Home or Comcast Work, etc. The description could be anything of your preference.

Below the Incoming Mail Server; update the hostname as mail.comcast.net • The username will be the similar email address. • The password is also similar as your Comcast account. • Below the Outgoing Mail Server; update the hostname as smtp.comcast.net • Now enable the SSL. • Outgoing Server Port number must be updated as 587 whereas Incoming Server Port would be 995. • If the POP settings mentioned above doesn’t work, then proceed with the IMAP settings and reconfigure the account from the beginning. Confirm that you have an active internet connection that is stable. • Wi-Fi networks are more stable in comparison to mobile networks. You should regularly update the operating system of your iPhone. Comcast email may not work suitably if you have been still using the older version of the IOS.
