Communication • If you have not heard back from me or any other staff member within 24 hours of sending an email, please make contact by phone. • If you do not have email/computer access at home and require paper copies of information, please visit Mrs. Harmon or Mr. O’Connell. • If you have not received email communication from the school via Connect 5, please check with Mrs. Harmon or Mr. O’Connell to make sure the correct email is on file. • Report cards will be accessible via Home Access only for all 4 quarters this school year. (No paper copies will be sent home)

Word study Words Their Way • At home and at school, students will be creating word sorts based on spelling patterns. • Students will be placed into flexible groups based on the results of their initial assessment. • Students may change classrooms to work with other 4th grade students on their sort. • WTW not only teaches students HOW to spell a word, but also WHY it is spelled that way.
