  4. Student Life is… support Club Officers and advisors are invited and encouraged to utilize the office and staff to organize any activity or club matter. Social development Professional Contacts Practice Classroom Theories Resource for Materials & Supplies

  5. Chartering a Club • Complete Club Chartering Packet • 4 Club Officers • 2.0 cum GPA • 1 Club Advisor • Financial Signature Card • Club Constitution • Have 2 Officers attend the Club Orientation

  6. Club Constitution A club’s constitutions states its purpose, intent & other important information. If there is a problems w/in your organization, refer to your constitution & advisor to help guide you. • Mission Statement • Defines the club • Governs the club

  7. Inter-Club Council The ICC meets each week to determine how allocated funds from LMCAS can be used by each club/organization. Monday 3:00pm – 4:00pm Room 409 Coordinating body of all LMC Clubs Each club is represented club Membership is optional Forum for expression Coordinate events & activities Organize Club Days

  8. Money Management All student organizations are required to do their banking through the college, and accounting for the funds will be performed by the District Accounting Office. • Student Deposit Form • Club Check Request Form • Cash Advance • Authorization for payment • 5 business day to process

  9. Funding & Fundraising • LMCAS • Complete LMCAS Funding Request Form • Submitted one week prior to next LMCAS meeting • Inter-Club Council (ICC) • Seed Money • Complete ICC Budget Request Form • Submitted one week prior to the next ICC meeting • Fund up to $700 • Donations • Must be coordinated w/Foundation Office • Complete Gift Acceptance Form

  10. Reserving Facilities • Use of Facilities • Scheduling the use of Facilities is permitted for chartered clubs. • Meetings • Events • Complete the Staff Use of Facilities Form • Tables in quad • Fundraising • Schedule 1 week in advance

  11. Advertising & Publicity Promote and publicize information about your club and its activities. • The Advertiser – • List of advertising methods. • Publicizing On-Campus • Bulletin Board Guidelines • Banners/Flyers Request
