Welcome to Science Class! • Be in your ASSIGNED seat by the time the bell rings. • Have your composition notebook, pen or pencil out on your desk. • When the bell rings be silent and start working on your KOK.   4. Define the Problem • What problem needs to be fixed? • How can it be improved?

  5. Research • Gather information on the topic. • Books, magazines, journals, interviews, internet.

  6. Hypothesis • A suggested answer to the problem. • Testable explanation. • It is not important that the hypothesis is correct!!!!!!!

  7. Experiment • A step by step procedure used to investigate the hypothesis. • Write down all of the steps in the procedure. • Keep a record of ALL experiment information.

  8. Results • Write down: materials, observations, mistakes, and data. • Create charts and graphs of your data.

  9. Conclusion • It summarizes all of your data. • Look back at your Hypothesis. • Did you prove it correct or incorrect?
