  2. RAFAELLO • Rafaello Sanzio , è nato il 6 aprile 1463 a Urbino ed è morto il 6 aprile 1520 a Roma. Ha imparato le basi della sua arte con suo padre, Giovanni Santieta. • Rafaello è un pittore italiano della rinascimento. • A 15 anni, Rafaello fa già il suo autoritratto .Fa i suoi anni di addestrare a Perugia nel 1500 con il Perugino,famoso pittore. • Lui scopre i lavori di Michelangelo e Leonardo da Vinci,e,studierà a Firenze dal 1504 al 1508 per assimilare la loro tecnica . • Nel 1509, è presentato alla corte di Giulio II per decorare le camere del Vaticano. • E’ considerato come un grandissimo pittore. • Rafaello muore a 37 anni, dopo avere fatto « la trasfigurazione »(1517-1520).

LA DONNA VELATA • La donna velata è un dipinto per lubrificare, sulla tela, di 82 su 60.5 centimetri, costruito tra il 1515 ed il 1516 da Rafaello. • E’ tenuto alla galleria Palatina al Palazzo Pitti a Firenze. • Gli storici pensano che la stessa donna, Margherita Luti, serve di modello per la velata e la fornarina. E’ la padrona dell ’ artista. • Lo sguardo e l’atteggiamento della donna velata fanno pensare alla Gioconda. • Lo sfondo del ritratto, è scuro per accrescere la luce del vestito. I vestiti sono chiari: bianco,giallo e oro. E’ anche il ritratto della dolcezza. • La velata è stata considerata spesso come il ritratto ideale dell ’ artista ideale.
