  2. Origin of 中秋節 • 在 northernsong dynasty (960-1127)中秋節发生在第八曰的十五日在中国日历。就是月亮就大和就輪的. • 在the zhou dynasty (11th century - 256 BC) 月亮在漫上就光的时候是的时间出去牺牲月亮女神。 • 到 tang dynasty ( AD 618 - 907) 让人開心,和看月亮出起成為中秋節做的活動。

  3. Customs (習俗) • 中秋節 有很多習俗。 • 有一个習俗是燒香。 • 種植中秋樹。 • 點燈籠。 • 小朋友會在月亮下玩。 不同的地方會要不同的習俗。

  4. Wugang on the moon • Wu Kang wanted to be an immortal. So he went to live in the mountains where he asked an immortal to teach him. First the immortal taught him about the herbs used to cure sickness, but after three days, Wu kang got bored and asked the immortal to teach him something else. So the immortal taught him how to play chess, but Wu Kang go bored easily again. Then Wu Kang was given the books of immortality to study. Of course, Wu Kang became bored within a few days, and asked if they could travel to some new and exciting place. Angered with Wu Kang's impatience, the immortal banished Wu Kang to the Moon Palace telling him that he must cut down a huge cassia tree before he was allowed to return to earth. Wu Kang chopped day and night, but the magical cassia tree restored itself with each chop. So legend has it, that Wu kang is still up there chopping the tree hoping to one day return to earth.

  5. 中秋節嫦的故事 (Chang's story of Mid-Autumn Festival) • The earth once had ten suns circling over it. Thesuns were scorching the crops and driving people into poverty. But the earth lucky. A strong and tyrannical archer named Hou Yi saved the earth. He shot down 9 of the 10 suns. Leaving one dun in the sky that he set to rise and set according to time. Hou Yi had a beautiful wife named Chang E. One day Hou Yi was walking when he met Empress of Heaven Wangmu. Empress Wangmu gave him a parcel of elixir, which was said that if one took it, one would ascend immediately to heaven and become a celestial being. Hou Yi, however, did not want to leave his wife, so he gave the elixir for his wife to treasure. Chang E hid the parcel in a treasure box at her dressing table. Then one day when You Yi was out PengMeng demanded Chang E to give him the Elixir. She did not want to give PengMeng the Elixir so she decided to swallow it. As soon as she swallowed it she floated up into the sky. When Hou Yi came home he looked into the night sky and saw the moon, with the shawdow of his wife. He chased after the moon but could not get it. So from that day on, Chang E lived on the moon.

  6. Associated Food • Mooncakes 月饼 • 中秋節最重要的食物是月饼。 • 月饼是很好吃 的糕點. • 月饼很甜 和很好吃! • 里面有蛋黃從咸蛋來的。 • 出面要字印上。印上的字可以代表很多董事。 • 月饼也可以印上花和兔子。

  8. Activities 活動 • 中秋節的活動要很多。 • 家庭會聚會一起和慶祝。 • 家庭會吃傳統菜餚 。完成吃饭了,做吃月饼给田本。 • 小朋友和他的爸爸,妈妈,會出去看月亮。
