  2. The Nucleus would be the principals office because… • It houses the DNA, which carries out all of the cells functions.

  3. The Nucleolus would be the maintenance manager because… • The nucleolus “hires” the Ribosomes that help to fix the “school.”

  4. The Ribosomes would be the maintenance workers because… • They are responsible for finding parts of the school (cell) that need to be fixed and fixing it.

  5. The Endoplasmic Reticulum would be the hallways because… • They are the passages that carry materials all around the cell.

  6. The Golgi Body would be the front office/mail room because… • It receives all proteins and other materials, “packages” them and ships them off to other parts of the cell.

  7. The Cell Membrane would be the doorway because… • It is the part of the cell (school) that either allows or denies substances entry or exit to or from the cell.

  8. The Cytoskeleton would be the school’s foundation because… • It helps the cell to keep its shape and allows for mobility.

  9. The Mitochondrion would be the cafeteria(s) because… • They converts food particles to energy (Adenosine Triphosphate).

  10. The Cytoplasm would be the rooms among the school because… • It houses all things in the cell.

  11. The Flagella would be the department chairs because… • It moves the school toward new policies.

  12. The Centrioles would be the school board because… • It “decides” when and where to build a new “school.” Hello Children!
