  2. Who invented it & Why? • Rene’ laenecinvented it. He invented it because he considered to be father of chest medicine.

  3. When was it invented? • It was invented in 1816.it was patented in 1851 by doctor Nathan B. Marsh.

  4. What’s the purpose? • The stethoscope has many purposes but the main one is it can indicate both normal and abnormal functions of the body’s organs.

  5. How things changed? • Stethoscopes changed in many ways like now they have 2 piece ear phones, its shaped diffrent. It also changed many peoples lives because doctors didn’t have a way to listen to any of their patients heart beat or organs.

  6. New version  • Yes there is a newer version of the stethoscope.
