  8. Late prophase The chromosomes pair up in homologous pairs.

  9. Metaphase The chromosomes line up on the equatorial plane and the microtubules take one homolodge each.

  10. Anaphase The microtubules of the spindle pull the homologues apart.

  11. Telophase The plasma membrane constricts, and the chromosomes become surrounded by nuclear material.
