  5. Policies Attendance is a MUST MUST PASS CLASS IN ORDER TO GRADUATE Be on time Make-up work It is the students responsibility to meet with the teacher about missed assignments

  16. …Contraception… • Ring- NUVARINGA small ring you put in your vagina once a month for three weeks to prevent pregnancy • Cap-a usually rubber or plastic contraceptive device in the form of a thimble-shaped molded cap • fits snugly over the uterine cervix and blocks sperm from entering the uterus • Spermicide-a preparation or substance (as in a contraceptive) used to kill sperm

  17. ...Contraception... • IUD “Intrauterine Device”- A shot in the arm that prevents pregnancy. • Injectable-A shot in the arm that prevents pregnancy. Safe, effective, and convenient. Easy to get with a prescription. Lasts for three months • Pill-are taken orally especially on a daily basis, and act as contraceptives typically preventing ovulation

  18. …Contraception • Patch-(Ortho Evra)-A small patch that sticks to your skin to prevent pregnancy • Diaphragm-a molded cap usually of thin rubber fitted over the uterine cervix to act as a mechanical contraceptive barrier • Male/Female Condoms- Consistent and correct use of male latex condoms can reduce (though not eliminate) the risk of STD transmission.
