  2. This metric shows that McDonald’s restaurant had 7.7% of the market share for offering restaurant services in United States. It also shows his two largest competitors being Burger King Restaurant (2.40%) and Wendy's Restaurant (2.30%). One important fact to point out is that there is a huge (76.2%) percentage of the market that seems to be held by many small competitors. This is a great sign for Mc Donald's restaurant, as it could tap into this part of the market and potentially increase his market share. This could potentially be done through a sales campaign. 3. This metric shows in terms of dollars the margin contribution that each geographic region generates through the international expansion metric. This metric is important, as it demonstrates two things. One, it shows what international business contributes to McDonald by providing more business environment and maximizing the customer reach in the competitive global market. Two, it gives McDonald the idea of establishing more branches worldwide to maximize their business and reach to customers. This is because each region contributes great dollar margin per restaurant. This is because it would take McDonald more time for their African, Asian, or Middle East business to produce the same revenue, as produced in the US. Dollar Contribution Margin Metric
