Mission Plan Organization Demos Discussion MISSION STATEMENT The mission of the e-Learning Design Laboratory is to create new solutions to the emerging challenges and opportunities in optimizing the application of technology to enhanced learning environments that transcend the educational and training needs of society. This involves the study, development, and research of new designs, principles, practices, tools, policies and learning environments that contribute to the engagement of learners across the life span in the pedagogy of e-learning.

Mission Plan Organization Demos Discussion NATIONAL BOARD OF DIRECTORS The National Board of Directors has representatives from industry, academe, e-commerce, national centers, training, and the research community. The role of the board will be to advise the directors of ITTC and the CRL on opportunities, external relationships, emerging trends, funding/revenue opportunities, unmet needs and new technologies. The board will meet annually and via teleconferencing as needed. Officers will include a chair and associate chair. Terms will be for two and three years (3 each) and staggered to insure continuity. Membership: The board will be comprised of six members from Academe, Industry (2), e-commerce, Research and National Centers

Mission Plan Organization Demos Discussion ADVISORY BOARD The board will advise the directors of the ITTC, CRL and the e-Learning Design Laboratory on mission, policies, procedures, opportunities and relationships to the University. They will also advise on relationships with the University. The board will meet semi-annually. Officers will include a chair and associate chair. Terms will be for two and three years (5 each) and staggered to insure continuity.
