Paragraph Data Collection Post-Assessment Directions • Write your first and last name at the top of a blank piece of paper that will be turned into Miss Lempke. • Also include today’s date and your LaCA class period. • Write your response neatly since this paragraph will be scored/graded as a summative assessment. • The paragraph will be scored using the “Opinion Essay—Paragraph Data Collection Rubric” and graded on your support (evidence & explanation) only. • The goal is to show that your writing has improved from the first body paragraph you wrote on this topic.

  3. Paragraph Data Collection Post-Assessment Prompt • In 1 BODY PARAGRAPH (7 Sentences Minimum), answer the following question. Write in complete sentences and be detailed in your explanation/response: • Start with a transition & topic sentence. Provide 3 pieces of evidence (fact & personal experience) & explain each piece of evidence in detail after you state it. Transition before you mention a new piece of evidence. • PROMPT = Choose one reason why passing time should or should not be lengthened between classes. Explain in detail with support (evidence).
