Eric YahavA Highly Capable OBGYN Eric Yahav had the opportunity to improve his skills while participating in arguably one of the best OBGYN trainings in North America, learning from highly qualified OBGYN specialists who have seen their fair share of complicated cases. That diversity allowed the Ross University School of Medicine graduate to develop his skills as a specialist who provides women the comprehensive care that they all deserve. Currently, several women health centers rely on the expertise of Dr. Yahav.
Eric Yahav Gaining Valuable Experience Eric Yahav has spent his specialized medical training at the OBGYN unit of the Cooper University Medical Center, a Camden-based hospital that provided him the opportunity to not only hone his craft and become a top OBGYN specialist, but also to enhance his leadership skills in the role of Chief Resident. This assignment taught him what it takes to coordinate dozens of people in order to create an environment where team mentality and camaraderie can prevail.
Eric Yahav Award and Accomplishments Eric Yahav had the privilege to earn various awards and accomplishments, in spite of his still young medical career. Between 2009 and 2010, he was the Chief Resident at Cooper University Hospital’s OBGYN department, a role that created the opportunity for him to learn a lot both professionally and personally. In addition to this professional accomplishment, he was elected to be the President of the Jewish Students Association at Ross University, before filling a similar role as the President of the Pre-Med Association at Columbia. Eric Yahav has spent part of his medical internship at the Mt. Siani School of Medicine in Jamaica, New York. His PGY-1 Obstetrics and Gynecology training between 2007 and 2010 has prepared him for the high expectations and huge responsibilities that come with a medical career. The first residency year is often a transformative experience, but without that extremely steep learning curve, no doctor could provide their very best in the enormously demanding hospital environment.
Eric Yahav Considerable Research Experience Eric Yahav has considerable research experience, having been involved in studies that try to find answers for the complex medical condition that is obesity. As a research coordinator for the National Institutes of Health who participated in various obesity and eating disorder studies, he had a chance to work with many pioneers in that particular research field, some of whom were renowned international scientists. As a result of the cooperation, various research papers of his has been published and presented at symposiums around the United States.
