Overview • Federal Agency Scorecard for EMS Implementation • DOE Quarterly Status Report for EMS Implementation
Federal Agency Scorecard • Agencies submit annual report to EPA • required by EO 13148 • reports progress in implementing EO • Federal Environmental Executive prepares federal agency scorecard • data from agency annual reports • criteria proposed by Interagency Workgroup
Federal Agency Scorecard • Scorecard criteria change each year • progressive steps to full implementation • “keep raising the bar” • Workgroup develops proposed criteria • Agency-level criteria first two scorecards were only agency-level • Site-level information added for 2003 scorecard reported as numerator, denominator, and percent
DOE Quarterly Status Report • Collects site-level information • Each Program Office has a designated point of contact • POCs provide status information for Program Office sites • Reports progress quarterly to top management • Provides information for DOE’s EO 13148 annual report
