  7. Each Learning Objective • Can be associated with one or more competencies • Can be associated with one or more activities • Can optionally have enforced evaluation methods. Once created, an objective cannot be changed in enforced evaluation methods. • Ready for Evaluation • No – You can add new activities or edit existing activities without triggering a re-evaluation

  8. Learning Objective Evaluation Methods

  9. Competencies • Competencies are not directly evaluated. • A competency is considered complete when the learner completes all of the associated objectives. • An objective is complete when the learner passes all of the associated activities.

Edit and Evaluate Competencies and Objectives • A competency in draft cannot be evaluated. • A competency approved cannot be edited, including associated objectives. • But associated activities can still be edited. • To add a parent or child to a competency or learning objective, open the item and make sure its status is draft. Then click Competency Structure. Same procedures for removing an item.
