  2. EAT OUT FOR SANBORN! This is our sixth year of “Eat Out” and it has proven to be a great success and easy way to raise money for the school. It’s simple: every month a calendar is distributed to all students listing the day and times a particular restaurant is having Sanborn Night (or day). For all purchases made by Sanborn families, a percentage (usually between 10-20%) is given back to the school. Along with the monthly calendar, reminder notices, required flier or stickers will be given out to the student the day of the event. So if you plan on eating out that day, consider going to the “Eat Out for Sanborn” restaurant. Each restaurant has different ways of tracking Sanborn purchases, some require that a flier be presented at time of order, some just require you mention Sanborn School when ordering. Keep the calendar handy, it will include these details. We look forward to another successful “Eat Out for Sanborn” year. In the 2008-2009 school year we collected over $6,000 that went directly into the PTO fund and helped pay for student programs, supplies and events.
