Flipped Classroom describes a reversal of traditional teaching where students gain first exposure to new material outside of class, usually via reading or lecture videos, and then class time is used to do the harder work of assimilating that knowledge through strategies such as problem-solving, discussion or debates.
Hypothesis Flipped Teaching • influences students’ performance • hones research skills • deepens engagement with content.
Procedure • Students were given the topic • They were asked to research on the same. • They were assessed on the same. • One student came up to teach the topic. • Students then discussed the topic in groups. • They were given a post test.
Findings • Removal of hesitation among students • Student controlled learning • Created interest in students • Participation by students • Improved student performance
