This project explores strategies employed by stakeholders during the transition of ICTD projects from research to implementation. By interviewing over 50 stakeholders from various roles, we examined seven selected ICTD research projects to identify key factors that influenced both consistent elements and changes in the transition process. Lessons learned emphasize the importance of flexibility, ongoing analysis, thorough documentation, and the continuous need for transcribing and theme identification. We aim to refine our understanding of how people and processes affect project outcomes in ICTD.
