  1. Andrea’s MillionDollarProject

  2. You have to create categories for what you want to buy. Each one has to be worth $10,000 or more. You can buy anything you want, as long as your not spending more that 1 million!! Or Less! Make sure you know what your getting before you buy. That’s why we fill out a planning sheet! What Is The Million Dollar Project? As your buying, you create graphs to make it easier to see what your doing, and how much money you’ve already spent. Your teacher Gives you exactly 1 million Dollars!! But Don’t get your hopes up, they’re fake. You have to spend every last penny. No dropping any.

  4. Today was Andrea’s Lucky day. She had won the grand prize at her school’s big fair. The prize was a basket with millions of things! Since Andrea didn’t like half of them, she decided to trade them in. In return she received 1 million dollars in spending money. But then they told her that she had to spend it all in less than a month or else!! So, Andrea set off onto the internet looking for cool things to buy.

  5. But as Andrea began to realize that this would be a lot more complicated than she thought, she put together a planning sheet that looked something like this:

  6. After Andrea created her planning sheet, she decided to go a little deeper by researching what she wanted to buy and putting it into a excel page. Each page had a category, and down at the bottom was how much that category was worth.

  7. Finally, in less than 3 weeks, Andrea new what she needed to buy in order to spend all $1,000,000. So she put together a quick little graph showing all of her data:

  8. FINALLY!!! She knew exactly what she needed to buy. She had 73 minutes to buy it all before her time would run out, so she set to work!!

  9. She Had Done It!!

  10. Andrea had bought everything on her list with only 38.283 seconds to go!!

  11. AND SHE LIVED HAPPILY EVER AFTER WITH ALL OF HER NEW STUFF!!(HURRAY)
