  2. In this lesson, you will learn how to correct grammar and spelling mistakes in your writing by rereading and fixing mistakes as you find them.

  4. Think about the people, places, or activities in your life that make you happy. Pick one thing to focus on. Describe what that thing is and how it makes you happy.

  5. Trying to look for lots of different types of mistakes at the same time! Is this word spelled right? Does a comma go here? And a capital letter? I’m overwhelmed!

  6. Reread your writing. Look only for spelling mistakes. Fix those. 1 Reread again. Look only for grammar and punctuation mistakes. Fix those. 2 Ask yourself questions like, “Is this one complete thought?” and “Are my sentences written correctly?” 3

  7. Are all the words spelled correctly? Do any words look funny? exhausted buzzing 1 I was exausted but still sitting on my couch working at 8 PM. Suddenly my phone started buzing on the table. “Who is bothering me!?” I angrily thought to myself. I looked at my phone and saw “Mom” light up on the screen. I smiled. “Hey Mom, what’s up? I asked. My mom is someone very important in my life. She’s somebody that can make me happy even when Im having a bad day.
