  4. A Mule is a living offspring, so doesn’t that make Horses and Donkeys the same species?

  5. Unfortunately, mules cannot beget more mules. This means that mules cannot reproduce to create living young that can also reproduce.Mules are not viable offspring, so horses and donkey’s are not in the same species.
