Filename 3 Nadcap Summary A detailed technical assessment over 3 – 5 days - annual requirement for all suppliers (unless on Merit Scheme) Supplier network slimmed down Nadcap approach agreed by CAA - planning to attend London meetings Oversight of Nadcap reports by RR technologists – can veto result RR people part of Nadcap management boards RR technologists within Task Groups ensure RR requirements are covered Asia mandate effective from 1st Jan 2005 Suppliers who fail an audit are checked for ‘product impact’ concerns – inform RR quickly Suppliers not Nadcap accredited must not be used for RR designed component manufacture RR will not duplicate Nadcap audits! RR internal plants progressing through NUCAP
