Group Research Split into groups of 1-2 Research one of the following occupations or talk to your teacher about another occupation: • Dishwasher (HD) • Airport luggage handler (Simon) • Forestry Worker • Construction Worker • Nurse • Gardener (CT) • Warehouse worker • Lab Technician (AB) • Hair Dresser (OI) • Firefighter(BT) • Soldier (AK) • Police officer (MF) • Athlete (BB) • Paramedic • Rodeo Clown (AE)

  3. Create a presentation including the following information: • Provide the job description • Duties required • PPE needed for the job • Ways to present: • Prezi • Powerpoint • Video • Poster • Other….. • Presentations should include: • Information in your own words • Images and interesting facts, video etc.

  4. Presentation Skills- 101 Know your material Do not read the slides Word for word Practice, practice 2. Make eye contact with the audience 3. Speak loud enough for audience to hear Use humour or personal stories to relate to the topic and engage the audience
