  2. Biography • I Made Mangku Pastika’s father is a school teacher. His father created this school and was the only school in a remote village in Bali. He lives with a simple live with hi family. In 1963 the biggest volcano in Bali errupted and he and his family transmigrated to Sumatra. He went to the school and graduated. He went to police school and graduated. He became the lead investigator of Bom Bali 1. He is now the 9th governor of Bali.

  3. Qualities of a Good Leader We need to be a commitment people. Because, he need to be commitment with his work because if he fails to do something he will still commit. Also because now we are in the intellectual era we need to be smart or else the community will not believe the leader. He need to be confident because, a leader need to make decisions. A leader also need to be persistent because, when the leader gets a problem he/she needs to retry not give up.

  4. How to Deal with Problem In Bali there happened so many problems, and of course the governor need to handle it. He does that by listening to other peoples opinion. He also need to have commitment because when you try one solution and it doesn’t work you still need to rethink. He also needs to understand the way of life Balinese people usually do. Communication is also crucial because it he needs to communicate will other people.

  5. Leadership Styles Mr. I Made MangkuPastika uses mainly 3 types of leadership, autocratic, democratic and free-rein. Each style is used according to the situation at a time. When the province is under control he may use the free-rein style but when Bali is in a chaos he may use autocratic leader and when the citizens wanted to give an idea he may use democratic style or when, the governor wanted to make a new rule he may ask the citizens to agree or not. .

  6. Mr. Pastika’s carrier. Mr. Pastika is currently the governor of Bali. He could speak 6 languages. He mastered English because Bali has many foreign tourist and he need to be able to speak English. He is Hindu and he believes in the law of karma. When he do something good he gets something good. He is a very good and wise policeman and governor. He is never arrogant even when he is a governor.

  7. Fun Facts  • Bali is the 2nd home for Australians. • Bali is the city of peace and harmony. • I Made MangkuPastika was the lead investigator of the Bom Bali • He had been awarded several times from the Australian government.
