Dan Cleary—Political Insomniac:

“I’ve broken out the Canon 20d, imperfect as it is. There is plenty of solid Obama hope around here, but also some serious vitriol. Here’s the latest propaganda that’s being stuck to mailboxes here, under the guise of the Obama campaign’s seal.” Wisconsin Day Two: Barack Hussein Obama II

  1. “I’ve broken out the Canon 20d, imperfect as it is. There is plenty of solid Obama hope around here, but also some serious vitriol. Here’s the latest propaganda that’s being stuck to mailboxes here, under the guise of the Obama campaign’s seal.” • Wisconsin Day Two: Barack Hussein Obama II • By Rachel Hulin ⋅ October 24, 2008

  2. Dan Cleary—Political Insomniac: …Obama Poster Mimics Soviet Propaganda Art What's up with this? (asks Dan) • Take a look at this pro-Obama poster, being peddled by a dog-sitting service in California called Metro Dog:

  3. The template appears to be lifted directly from this Soviet propaganda poster painted in the 1920s by Russian Constructivist artist Alexander Rodchenko:

  4. BLOG RESPONSE Max Wyman said... Yeah, how 'bout that, Soviet art, right? Are you aware that in the original image, the woman is shouting "books" and that this was an image Rodchenko designed for a Moscow publishing house? Not that I'd expect you to EVER check your--what were those called again?--oh yeah, FACTS. I mean, that's ignoring the fact that what an independent agent makes with his own free time shouldn't be a reflection of a candidate at all... but hey, you Republicans aren't really into "facts" and "rational thought," anyway. You're more like a "gut feelings based on name-calling" kinda party.
