  2. DO NOW: • Copy the homework • Get your numbered laptop and log on. • Go to Mrs. Gorton’s Wikispace page and respond meaningfully to at least 2 peers’ Blog Entry #5.

  3. Service learning announcement: • All 3 services should be completed by now. If they are still incomplete, you must finish by the end of next weekend. • You should have been keeping a log of your actions each week. • You should have been collecting a variety of evidence each week, including at least 3 photos.

  4. Service Learning announcement: • Blog Entry #5 is the second to last blog entry. • Of the first 5 entries, you need to choose the one that is BEST to include in your final project. • Each group member needs 1 blog entry included in the project. Choose your best one, and print it or upload it to your project. • The 6th entry will be done after the project and will count most heavily towards your final grade.

  5. Service Learning: Works Cited • In general, content was good • In general, formatting needs a LOT of improvement • See one of your class’s “experts” for help • You will need ONE Works Cited page for the entire group; start putting them together into 1 document • Remember to include works cited info for your WRO

  6. What should we have done so far? • Project format chosen • Title • Works cited page (individual) • Final copy of CI paragraph (individual) • Final copy of WRO paragraph (choose best one from group) • Blog entries • Persuasive Essay • Evidence/log of actions

  7. What do we need to do today and/or this weekend? • List of goals you set out to accomplish (1 per group) • List of accomplishments (1 per group) • Timeline of actions* (1 per group) • Choose and print/upload best blog entry (1 per person) • Gather/finalize/print evidence • Persuasive Essay?
