  3. Contact Information • Phone Calls – Please call the school office @ 347-6858. Leave a message and wewill return your call as soon as possible. Email – ecurtis@enterpriseschools.net adrown@enterpriseschools.net lnewingham@enterpriseschools.net vsnellgrove@enterpriseschools.net * Until an email contact address has been established for Mrs. Amsler, please send correspondence to Mr. Newinghamfor forwarding. • Notes – You may also send notes with your child, but please ensure they are sent in a sealed envelope.

  4. Parent-Teacher Conferences Expect sign-up forms to be sent home the first week your child receives the Wednesday Folder. The form will allow you to make three choices of dates & times to meet with your child’s homeroom teacher. Every effort will be made to give you your first choice, but this is not always possible.

  5. 6th Grade Schedule 8:00-8:10 Character Education 8:10-9:15 Period 1 9:15-10:20 Period 2 10:20-11:05 P.E. 11:05-11:39 Lunch 11:39-12:45 Period 3 12:45-1:50 Period 4 1:50-2:55 Period 5 2:55-3:00 Homeroom / Dismiss • Note: All students will rotate to “all” teachers for instruction this year.

  6. Hall Procedures MORNING Eat breakfast before coming to hall. Sit on wall beside homeroom. 7:30 am begins QUIETTIME. You may study or read AR quietly (no homework). Ask permission before going to restroom or school store. AFTERNOON • Begin exiting classroom at 2:55 pm. • QUIETLY exit to assigned area. • Listen for announcements. • Wait quietly for dismissal.

  7. Restroom Procedures • Students need to use the restroom when the teacher takes them during scheduled times. • Students will only use the restroom during class for personal care or emergencies. • Students must take pass with him/her and return the pass to its proper location upon returning to class.

  8. Homework • Homework is normally assigned Monday - Thursday. • When a student is absent from school he/she will be given an opportunity to make up the work. • If a student does not complete or turn in homework on time, they will be given the opportunity to complete and turn in the work during the lunch period. • If the student does not complete and turn in the homework during the lunch period, the student will be required to complete the late work at home and to turn it in prior to the start of classes the next morning. • If the late work is still not turned in, the student will be referred to the office.

  9. Expected Student Behaviors Be prompt Be ready to learn when class begins. Be prepared Have materials with you and know due dates. Be a polite and positive participant Speak in a normal tone of voice, and listen attentively. Be productive Turn in work on time, and always do your best. Be a problem solver Correct problems quickly and peacefully before they escalate.

  10. Discipline • Students will receive a weekly (Monday-Friday) conduct grade. • Conduct grades will be recorded in the student’s Wednesday Folder and need to be signed by a parent/guardian. • For further information concerning discipline of students, please refer to the handbook.

Lunch & Snacks Breakfast $1.25 daily $6.25 weekly Lunch $2.00 daily $10.00 weekly VISITOR breakfast $2. 50/lunch $3.50 Juice $.55 daily/Milk $.50 daily $2.50 weekly Please send a healthy snack for your child daily if you would like them to have one and you do not wish to pay for school snacks (milk/juice).

  12. Box Tops • Box Tops for Education will start being collected next Monday!!! Please save them and have your child give the box tops to their homeroom teacher.
