  2. SPEAKER BIO Z Altug, PT, DPT, MS, CSCS, is a licensed physical therapist and performance specialist with more than 28 years of experience in his field. He currently works as a physical therapist at private practice in Los Angeles. Z previously worked as an assistant professor at West Coast University for 2 years and at the UCLA Medical Center outpatient rehabilitation department for 12 years. He graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a bachelor of science degree in physical therapy (1989) and obtained his master of science degree (1985) in sport and exercise studies and a bachelor of science degree in physical education (1983) from West Virginia University. Z also completed a transitional doctorate degree (2015) in physical therapy (DPT) from the College of St. Scholastica in Duluth, Minnesota. Z Altug is a long-standing member of the American Physical Therapy Association, California Physical Therapy Association, and National Strength and Conditioning Association.
