What is Blogging? • "Blog" is an abbreviated version of "weblog," which is a term used to describe web sites that maintain an ongoing chronicle of information. • Many blogs focus on a particular topic, such as web design, home staging, sports, or mobile technology. Blogs can be personal journals as well.

  6. Advantages of Blogging • Express feelings and/or emotions • Tell people your thoughts • Favorite things • Sports • Food • Video Games • Movies/TV Shows • Cars • Etc……

  7. Blogger • Blogger is an online blogging service hosted by Google • The web address used to be blogspot.com, but now it is blogger.com • Free to sign up, but you must have a Google e-mail account

  9. WordPress • WordPress is a free online blogging tool • Has a web template system using a template processor • Features • Themes • Plugins • Widgets • Mobility (used on iPads, iPhones, Android phones, Kindle Fires, Samsung tablets, etc.)
